Today is Ash Wednesday and also St Valentine’s Day. What a special day it is as we celebrate love! A time to remember God’s love for us, humanity, and our human love for another person.

Ash Wednesday is the beginning of the Christian season of Lent. ‘Lent’ means spring. Lent is a 40-day season for spiritual breakthrough in repentance and renewal. We identify ourselves with Christ’s suffering and death. The season of Lent ends on Easter Sunday.

Let us celebrate love and may you and I be mesmerised by the steadfast and wonderful love of Christ!
