ICF Pastor, the Rev Leslie Lim, and ICF leaders would like to wish all A Blessed Merry Christmas and a Peaceful New Year!

Seasons come and seasons go, during this “darkest period” (the effect of Covid-19 pandemic), our Advent Candles of Faith, Hope, Love and Peace glow the brightest as we realise the faithfulness of our Loving Creator God.

Some may wish us the magic of Christmas but it is no magic. In reality it is the miracle of Christmas – Christ was born on Christmas Day, God’s greatest love gift to mankind! God took the form of a human to lay His life for us that we may have a new life, an everlasting life, to enjoy eternity with Him.

God’s love and blessings to His children does not stop with ourselves. We seize the festive season to share our love for the disadvantaged and needy children in our city. It is more than a charitable work. While we cannot do everything, we want to do something for that someone with the love of Christ in us so that they may also experience the love of Christ.

When we realise how much the Heavenly Father has bestowed on us His greatest gift – Jesus Christ – the Saviour of the World – born on this Christmas Day to save us from our sins, may we respond with our heart of gratefulness, our knees humbly bowed down before the Lord’s Throne, our hearts and mouths gladly proclaim: Come let us adore the Babe as who He is – Christ the King!

Once again, we pray that you will not miss out Christ in this Christmas festive season. For Christ is the reason for this season. Have faith in Jesus Christ and you will experience God’s greatest love for you and you will enjoy the peace and hope that only Jesus can give you.
