Full of Hope for the New Year ahead

  • Hope

We are sure you had a good celebration of the Lunar New Year (known as Tet here in Vietnam) and with all the feasting and partying over, it is time to start work again and face the reality of life.

We are sure you had a good celebration of the Lunar New Year (known as Tet here in Vietnam), and with all the feasting and partying over, it is time to start work again and face the reality of life.

The world has her share of wars, natural disasters, sufferings, and challenges, yet we do believe it is not going to be a place where evil is absent; rather, we believe that goodness will prevail. “Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it” (Helen Keller)

At this moment, we seize the opportunity to specifically remember the victims and their relatives of the Turkey- Syria earthquakes to the Lord. May the Lord have mercy on them.

Christians are urged to be patient during suffering because of the Coming of the Lord (James 5:7-8). We are to strengthen our hearts, and that is to stand firm in our faith, for the Coming of the Lord.

We are always full of hope for the new year ahead, hey you know what, because our God is a Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper and Light in the Darkness – that is who our God is!

The eternal God is our refuge, and His everlasting arms are under us (Deuteronomy 33:27).
