REMEMBERING THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL
Today the world celebrates Valentine’s Day with love in mind and the Christians too will begin to remember the greatest love of all – their Saviour’s sacrificial love for mankind by dying on the Cross.
Today is Ash Wednesday, the start of the 40 days of the Season of Lent – a time to repent with prayers and fasting as a way to identify with our Saviour’s suffering and death. We are reminded that we need to reconcile with our Creator, make peace with God and live rightly in this world – to be loved by God, to love God and His creation. Let us live in this world, filling it with the love of God.
Have a holy Ash Wednesday and a reflective season of Lent.
