Our ICF Christmas Celebration starts early!
We celebrate Christmas – the birth of our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ on the third Advent Sunday. We are aware that 25th of December is not the actual birthday of Jesus so we know it is also fine that we may choose a special Sunday to celebrate Christmas for our ICF International Family. So we chose this Sunday to commemorate and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. And one feature of our celebration is that we have decided to exercise the spirit of giving, the spirit of Christmas, by sharing to some of the marginalised and disadvantaged in our community.
Luke the Evangelist records for us as announced by an angel
“Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.” (Luke 2:10, NIV)
Christmas is not Christmas if you do not have Jesus in your heart and walk with Him. We pray that you will know the Saviour and this Christmas you know He is the reason that we live.
The ICF Pastor and the leaders seize this opportunity to wish everyone a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!
