Last Sunday, the 6th Sunday of Kingdomtide, we learnt how Jesus Christ, the Passover Lamb, fulfilled all Israel's Feasts, especially the Passover Feast and the Unleavened Bread. As the Bread, the Body of Jesus was broken for us. At the drinking of the Cup of Redemption, Jesus instituted that this cup is the New Covenant that contains His Blood shed for us. His sacrifice has redeemed us from the slavery of sin and death. It was for freedom that we were set free to worship God. Death will pass over those who obeyed God's instruction by having the passover meal and painting the blood of the sacrificed lamb on the posts and lintels of their main door. We have been redeemed to be a new people of God to live for His will.

As we near the last three chapters of the Gospel of Luke, Jesus, as the Lamb of God, entered into Jerusalem on the same day as the selection day of the sacrificial lambs reared from Bethlehem. Jesus was to identify with His own, to be examined, and to purge sins out of the House of God. Four days later, the Thursday evening after the Passover Meal, Jesus would be betrayed and handed to the Religious leaders and thereafter to the Roman Governor to be sentenced to death. At around the time when the first sacrificial lamb was slain in the Temple, Jesus Himself - the true Sacrificial Lamb - was crucified on the cross.

The last few weeks we are glad to have visitors from Singapore and even as far as Germany who worshipped with ICF. And one more thing, you can't miss this -our young adults enjoy their fellowship and food after the Sunday Service. Please join them for the fellowship, even for those who are young at heart.

We warmly welcome foreign residents and visitors who want to worship at an English-speaking church. We are a licensed Inter-denominational Church in Ho Chi Minh City.
