Come to Me and Drink! - Jesus
The Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) is one of the important feasts in the Bible. It is a time for the people of God to gather together to remember God's deliverance and provision in the desert in the past. Yet there is hope that is we are to look ahead to that promised Messianic age when all nations will come to Jerusalem to worship the LORD.

As Christians, we believe this feast inspires us to live closely to our Lord Jesus in anticipating His glorious return. We are not to be too complacent and sluggish in our daily living in this temporal world. We are to hunger for the Lord Jesus, His Kingdom and righteousness so much more than we are pursuing the worldly attractions.
In the Chapter 7 of the Gospel of John, let us hear the invitation of Jesus to us:
On the last and most important day of the feast (of Tabernacles) Jesus stood up and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to Me and drink. If anyone believes in Me, rivers of living water will flow out from that person’s heart, as the Scripture says.”
What is one of the most essential item in the desert? Water?!
Only Jesus can fully satisfied us. Stop wandering, and getting lost in the desert no more. Gird ourselves and start moving under the leadership of the Holy Spirit and follow everything that Jesus has taught us in the Bible. Be courageous, keep moving on with Jesus.
Then we will be able to understand that our lives on earth is temporary when we come to Jesus and drink of Him...wow... There will be a deep supernatural, significant transformation taking place in our inner beings, that is, we will be fully refreshed, and enter into our rest.
We no longer wanting for something illusive but now we will live our lives in holiness and in honour of our King. A Spirit-filled life worth living that anticipates the coming back of our King!
